Chapman’s Latter-day Saint Student Association cordially invites you to the 2008 Excellence in Education Lecture. The LDSSA is delighted to bring to campus Matthew S. Holland, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Brigham Young University. Dr. Holland’s lecture will be based on his recent book, Bonds of Affection: Civic Charity and the Making of America-Winthrop, Jefferson, and Lincoln (Georgetown University Press, 2007). Dr. Holland will provide an in-depth look at the role of civic charity in America through the eyes of our founding fathers. Please join us as we celebrate the role political science plays in a well-rounded education.
